Published on February 12, 2008 By Alberto In CursorFX
We've sent a few internal test builds around this week and I've been reported about this:
- Slow/choppy cursor: FIXED.
- Process priority going wrong: FIXED (thanks Jacob).
- Crash on loading Control panel with some old cursors: FIXED.
- Too slow Control panel load time: FIXED.
- CursorFX cursors disappearing on IconPackager apply: FIXED.

We will iron out the new build in the next few days and then refresh the public distribution.

Thanks to all people that helped fixing this quickly. Hopefully when everything is polished for all machine/software variants around we will move forward adding new exciting features.

Thanks for all your hard work, Alberto. It's a great piece of software.

Have you been able to reproduce the appearance of the default Windows pointer when hovering the mouse over items in dropdown lists (most notably the Value: dropdown box in SKS5) & when hovering over the domain shutdown dialog? On XPP SP2.

randomly. which is even worse now that cursorFX cursors disappear, so then there is no windows cursor to see either, and it's invisible. it's only the normal cursor, if i hover over a link or something, that shows up. all other cursor except the main are still there, this was also a bug with CursorXP Plus

What about compensating me for the mouse I smashed in a fit of pc rage when I got fragged in UT2004 because my mouse was jerky...

Prophetzer, I only saw that when I had tie first "free cfx" version loaded and still had cxp installed (but off). After buying cfx plus, uninstalling cxp, and doing a clean install of cfxplus v2.00.004 that stopped happening. So your're right. It can happen. It occurs when your changing cursors right?

i've done a clean install, and cursor xp has never been on this box. no, it does not happen when changing cursors, it just happens at any point in time for no apparant reason. i have tracked it to remote desktop, like 90% of the time does this, but there are other triggers too i haven't pinpointed. maybe it's strictly a multimonitor environment, that is another possibility
